25 an hour 10 days ago 10 days ago 10 days ago This position has been established to provide each work area with a trained and qualified individual capable of communicating quality requirements, performing quality audits, and relieving employees at break times.
Through performance of regular audits and final acceptance of product, this person is the final judge of product conforming to customer and internal standards.
Any non-conformances are to be reported immediately and the product properly shut down.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
1.
Must be able to work with basic PC applications such as Excel, Word, and email.
2.
Perform first piece approval checks after job set-up.
3.
Use traditional inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges to evaluate products.
4.
Approve product for removal to the finished goods warehouse.
5.
Perform receiving inspection of incoming parts and materials according to written instructions.
6.
Alert management and/or quality control of any suspect non-conforming products and all unclear standards and specifications.
7.
Coordinate movement of materials into containment.
Generate reports on defect rates as required.
Audit parts reported from NCMR.
8.
Follow the practices set in the non-conforming material hold policy and procedures when a non-conformance is discovered.
9.
Ensure that, when necessary, non-conforming product is placed in the Hold Area and properly identified as on hold.
10.
Comply with LMC Associate / Employee Handbook.
11.
Perform other related duties as requested by supervision.
