Irrigation Tech
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Irrigation Technician to join our team.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining irrigation systems to ensure efficient water distribution and healthy plant growth.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Install new irrigation systems according to blueprints, design plans, and specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections of existing irrigation systems to identify and troubleshoot issues such as leaks, clogs, and broken components.
- Perform repairs and adjustments to sprinkler heads, valves, pipes, and controllers as needed.
- Program irrigation controllers and timers to optimize water usage and ensure proper scheduling of watering cycles.
- Monitor soil moisture levels and adjust irrigation settings accordingly to promote plant health and conserve water.
- Collaborate with landscaping crews and other team members to coordinate irrigation activities with overall project timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, labor hours, and service reports.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an irrigation technician or in a similar role preferred.
- Knowledge of irrigation system components, including pipes, valves, controllers, and sensors.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools for installation and repairs.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver''s license with a clean driving record.
