Title: Windows Systems Administrator/Engineer
Duration: 1-2 years
Location: Arnold, MO

Softworld?s client is looking for a Windows Systems Administrator/Engineer to support the Datacenter. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks supporting including 24x7 on-call support to mission critical systems and user support and administration; Maintain Windows Systems for high visibility national systems comprised of multiple servers on several networks at local and remote locations; Administer standalone and network installation, file system management, backups, process control, user administration, and device management ; Resolve a wide variety of complex system failures, troubleshooting software, hardware, and network problems, and monitoring and addressing Service Center trouble tickets and ISR?s as required; Configure Windows OS to allow interaction between networks; Provide DNS, Active Directory and LDAP configuration; Configure hardware and software for servers, RAIDs, storage arrays, and library storage devices; Provide O&M functions such as hard drive removal, print server configuration, performance optimization, and research and installation of current patches, where applicable install.
TS/SCI required.

Required Skills:

Bachelor?s Degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
TS/SCI clearance and able to obtain a CI poly
Proficient with Microsoft Server 2003, 2008 R2 and 2012 R2; Administering and Troubleshooting Issues Related to Windows Patch Management
Windows Monitoring and Alerting experience
Experience configuring Windows OS to allow interaction between networks; experience providing DNS, Active Directory and LDAP configuration
Knowledgeable with Microsoft SQL
Strong knowledge of SAN architectures and FC/ iSCSI protocols
Must have conceptual knowledge of internetworking concepts such as TCP/IP, and of virtualization technologies such as VMware. Knowledge of IT security concepts and practices Top Secret clearance
Security
certification or able to obtain one prior to starting
Must be able and willing to work flexible shifts as required
Desired Skills:

Windows PowerShell
Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server technologies ? Active Directory, WINS, DNS, Windows Domain Controllers, Group Policy, SSL Certificates, DHCP, SharePoint, IIS 6.0 & 7.0
Understanding and knowledge VMWARE virtual environments (ESXI/vCenter)
Experience in Microsoft Windows server administration
